Vikram Academy of Performing Arts, is an Institution for Dance, Music, Literary Activities and Dramatic Arts,
Founded and Headed by Dr.Vikram Panchal and Dr.Rekha Mukherjee. The Academy Work and regular day to day
ctivities are Handled by Shaunak Vyas, who is a Multi Dynamic Artist - A Singer, Actor and Writer too.
Dr Vikram Panchal and Dr.Rekha Mukherjee are Award Winning Educators, who have been Associated with the
Gujarat University Cultural Events and Festivals for more than Two decades now. They are Renowned in their
field of Academics and also Cultural Ambassadors in Art Forms like, Dramatics, Music and Debates - Elocution.
For the last Three years, The Academy has been holding Workshops in Western Music, Public Speaking, Dramatics and Folk Dance alongside Yoga, for various Universities in Gujarat and across India too. We have a Repertoire of Ten Plays, written by Us, Directed by Us, alongwith some Classic Dramas, we have Directed for Various Colleges of Gujarat University, and some Private Productions too, that were Powered by the Government of Gujarat, Sangeet Natak Academy.
Since we have a Tremendous Pool of Artists in various geners, We are looking at Establishing Ourselves Internationally as well. For, We Expertise in All the Possible Folk Dance Forms of India, ranging from the East ( Assam Bihu,. Manipuri, Chau, Sambalpuri) to West ( Gujarati Raas, Garba, Tribal Folk, Rajasthani Ghoomar, Chirmi, Kalbeliya etc) North ( kashmiri, Dogri, Pahadi, Awadhi etc) Southindian Dance forms. Students Trained by Us, have been Winning Competition in Public speaking, Western Music Singing, Dramatics etc.
The endeavor is to Add Service to Society and heal through Cultural Arts.
